Today, I get a call from hubs while Im still in training class.
Not good.
I ignore, UHM cuz IM IN TRAINING (incident from two weeks ago, still has me a little irritated! lol) but he tries to call again. Training lets out (about 15 mins later) and I get a txt from hubs that says, AND I QUOTE
"Ask Tara to pick Alex up from school and they got into a tiff. then they got in to a physical fight while driving my truck down the road"

WTF? OMG!!!!!

I call him, and he confirms the txt explaining what happened.

Apparently, Tara went to pick Alex up at school and she parked too far away (for him) cuz he was bringing home his table that he made in shop. He had to walk about an extra 20 feet so he was mad. -- honestly, I think something may have happened this AM prior to this fight, cuz something was off. ..I knew it, WELL not until NOW! dammit! -- Arguing about the park job I guess is what started it, which led into arguing about the radio, cuz one turned it up loud to out "talk" the other one. . .then that lead to smacking hands and "fist" fighting I guess cuz Alex ended up with a fat lip. . .WHILE SHE WAS DRIVING!!!
did I, uhm, mention that she has only been a licensed driver for about a year???? HOLY CRAP!!! O_O

Hubs made them go to their rooms and told them both no youth class tonight. . .the bf had to go home and plans were now changed.

Now its time for punishment. .
they have already been lectured. . .once. (im sure there is still more to come, cuz I haven't said a word. . .yet. still thinking. . .)
My version for the immediate punishment (besides them staying in their rooms - separately to think) is for them both to write down what happened before they can be released from their rooms, while hubs's big plan is to "have them apologize to each other" -- uhm, yeah right. Something is going down here that may or may not be disclosed?? I figure if we get each side of the story, separately, in their own words. . .they will both have to ACTUALLY THINK about what happened and how this whole stupid fight could have gotten someone killed. Honestly!

They will write it all out like I just did and it will make sense.
Or it won't (cuz it really don't to me LOL)
either way. . .they both have to come up with something.

Hubs went to deliver the message to them about the apology, Then followed it by explaining what they had to do to be released from their rooms.
He comes back down and says "well, that went over like a lead balloon!"
Ahahahahaha. . .it was like a punch in the gut!! they both have to WRITE, THINK, AND APOLOGIZE.

Punishment enuff??
hmmmmm. . .we'll see I guess.

an awesome day!

Yesterday was a totally awesome day!!! When I woke up, I was not AT ALL looking forward to doing a meeting to wrap up my current job. . .in other words, give me TONS more work to do. LOL but, before the meeting even started, I found out where my next job is going to be and overall, I had a good day (and I am thinking that it IS ABOUT TIME!) Yeah, I still have a TON more work to do, but I can deal now that I know FOR SURE that I will not be laid off, yet. ;)

I get up today in a decent mood, probably due to yesterday's news, and I am thinking there is no way this day can top yesterday. . .but I received MORE good news today!! Can u believe this? NO, I can't either (and I am kind of waiting for the other shoe to drop - or however they say that saying lol)!!! My friend Kim told me that her friends are not going to the show that I could not get tickets for. . .which means I can go now!!!! woooohooooo!!!!! I get to feed my addiction (but this is a GOOD thing!!) I can hardly wait. :) And I didn't waste a work day either. Yippeee!

Skillet, Puddle of Mudd, and Shinedown at Atlantic City's House of Blues and I am gonna be there!!!! Yay!!! She really made my day!! :) :)

Slacker me hits again! UGH

Okay. . .pre-warning! this is one of those times where I'm gonna whine and cry about something that is my own fault. . .but this is MY blog, and I'll cry if I want to.
We were supposed to go to Atlantic City in two weeks for a concert. well, Im a slacker and haven't checked for tix in over two weeks, because I thought we had plenty of time. Then i did the whole argue with myself about whether or not we should really go, due to funding, time constraints, etc. and finally my "fun" side won out, and told my "logical" side to shut the hell up, I haven't done a concert since 11-11 (holy shit - withdraw sets in harder)!!!! can u believe that! So anyways, I decided to go tonight to order the tix and THEY R ALL GONE!!! WTF? Wahhhhhhhhhhh!!!!
Now what do I do?
Well, duh, dipshit. . .do what you normally do. . .go to ebay! Great plan, right? WRONG. . .cheapest tix on ebay were $800 for two. that is, uhm, 2 $40 tix!! If I had ordered them two weeks ago, they would have cost me $82.50! Is that ebay person INSANE???? must be, but I sure as hell am not. After all, this is not Aerosmith (and believe me, I have considered worse for THEM LOL)
So now I am backed to being bummed out, unless of course some miracle happens. :(

I was thinking of stuff to blog about all week! Every single time I get online, I end up doing other stuff. For example, I sat down at the computer the other day, and my intention was to print my bank statement. Intention failed. 3 different times. I would forget about it as soon as my email popped up. Email is a different story, it sucks me in EVERY TIME when I am least expecting it. . .and i end up searching, printing coupons, reading sales ads, and every once in a great while, a good one comes in, from old friend! and I just get distracted. Easily.

After Xmas Deals

Dang...I have been soo wrong about shopping all these years (well, not the past 3 years, but subtract that from the whole 29 years ;) I have lived, and you get ALL THESE YEARS) haha Point is. . .I will never ever pay full price for wrapping paper, gift tags, bags, bows, tissue paper, Christmas Cards or decorations AGAIN!!
Since I have decided to change up my blog a little, I am not gonna bore u with details. . .but I do want to just share a little tid bit of what I mean.
Currently, if stores have any xmas merch left, they are trying to get rid of it. Target already has their stuff at 75% off (and as of NYE, they were pretty much out of all the "good" stuff) and Kmart and Wal Mart were at 50% off. All smart shoppers know that this is when to stock up for next year (uhm, that is, IF u have any money left from the HORRIBLE HOLIDAY shopping!! LOL)
Well with the few pennies I had left, I found some awesome deals for next year.
Best deal: Weis markets had all xmas stuff marked down. ..mostly 50% off with the exception of xmas cards. they were 90% off!!! I went over there and there were only TWO packs left - I grabbed them of course. Now get this, they were originally marked 10.99 and 11.99 (which is ABSOLUTELY outrageous for xmas cards!) but at 90% off I got them for 1.10 and 1.21!!! :) :) I was so happy! Not only did I get a few cards at Kmart earlier in the day - I think like 40 - for 6.36, then I got this good deal for about 32 cards! It was awesome (even tho I was mad about getting "ripped off" at Kmart - not really, but compared to Weis!) I needed the cards though and was glad to get them at a discount because I ran out before I was done this year (UGH and only TWO short! just my luck lol) and had to buy a pack. I got them at Christmas Tree Shops for $3.99 (for 16) which is better than other stores (like Weis at retail) but still, that hurt!! haha talk about a cheap ass! LOL Now I have tons of cards for next year and won't even have to think about that during the hustle and bustle of next years holiday. Along with that, I will not have to think about wrapping paper, tags, tissue paper, bags, etc. cuz all that stuff is stocked and bought when it is cheap -- AFTER SEASON!!
Geez, if everyone was as smart as me, retailers would be out of business!! HA!

Crazy Eights

Why does everything revolve around the number 8??
Supposed to get 8 hours of sleep a night to be healthy!
Supposed to drink 8 eight oz glasses of water a day!
8 pounds is a good number of pounds to lose per month on average!
8 fruits and/or veggies per day (lol yeah right! wtf?)
Well I freaking ATE back all the EIGHT pounds I lost over the summer! Wah!

I hate Eight! and BTW. . .the new, uhm, PLAN starts on the Eighth! go figure! : /
